HEAD Visor - System for Real-Time Identification of Sound Sources
HEAD VISOR is an innovation from HEAD acoustics GmbH in the area of microphone array technology. Thanks to its real-time design, you will soon forget that you are working with a complex measurement system.
VISOR literally allows you to expand your senses and to handle acoustic tasks in a completely new way. Immediately after turning the system on, you will see a video image with a synchronously superimposed high-resolution map of the sound sources. The influence of modifications, analysis settings etc. can be monitored in real time. You don't even have to start a recording.
Something happened too fast? No problem: The “Freeze-Buffer” continuously remembers the last 20 seconds, regardless of whether you are recording to hard disk or not. Press one button, and everything is there for you to watch again and analyze. You only need to save those results that are really interesting for you. Thanks to optimized signal processing, time-consuming and error-prone parameter adjustments are not required.

VISOR can be operated intuitively and handles many additional tasks for you. For example, the three cameras determine the distances to various measurement objects (MultipleEye technology), which is required for the exact location of the sound sources.
The high-quality functional design provides for a high degree of mobility, allowing you to operate VISOR almost anywhere as a hand-held device or mounted on a stand.
Transporting the system is really easy, too, as the arms of the array can be quickly dismounted by hand. |
