Wiring Analyzers

Multi-Bus Architecture:

  • Model 2500.MBA - up to 10 independent buses to actuate components

Model 2500.MBA

Customers rely on DIT-MCO International wiring analyzers for wiring testing solutions. Integrate the 2500.MBA (Multiple Bus Architecture) into your current test and/or manufacturing process. The 2500.MBA works with other instruments for a streamlined, total test process. It also tests subassemblies containing relays, switches, solenoids, lights, LEDs, and programmed power sources. Whether you need external stimulus to actuate components or add instruments, the 2500.MBA offers an efficient test solution. It eliminates special adaptation with it’s direct connector-to-connector design cutting costs and time, especially when modifying your product. Test panels, chassis, electrical racks and other wired assemblies containing active components. The 2500.MBA performs accurate, precise continuity and insulation tests, including leakage, resistance, voltage measurements, capacitance, and dielectric breakdown.

The Difference in Energization

The 2500.MBA uses true random access to apply stimulus to any test point, not just to the board level bus, in the Unit Under Test (UUT). The MBA is unique by allowing any point in the analyzer to be a switching point, an energization point or both for the UUT. Its random access, multi-bus architecture eliminates special interfaces. With the 2500.MBA you:

  • Eliminate dedicated interface cables
  • Get rid of split or ‘Y’ connections, patch panels as well as "punch power" tests
  • Reduce adaptation inventory
  • Easily adapt to product design changes
  • Reduce test development time
  • Save time and material

Configurations

As a 19-inch rack mounted assembly, the 2500.MBA expands at the module level in 1,000-point increments or at the board level with two buses of 100 points per board. You can even mix standard switching with random bus switching to minimize costs.

Need to easily move your MBA? A portable system with 1,000 test points does the job. The computer and monitor mount securely to the cabinet to retain the system’s mobility.

The 2500.MBA offers the same Windows®-based software as other DIT-MCO test systems. The wide range of software applications means you have the flexibility and functions you need even when your testing needs change. These applications take you from test program development to analysis of electrical faults. Now you can automate your testing, conducting tests and using the results to improve your processes and products.
