iSite
iSite accelerates WLAN survey and design while simplifying network management. It was created for IT professionals challenged by the complexities of WLAN deployment.
Overview
iSite offers two modes of operation, survey and design. In the survey mode, iSite records measurement points in an existing network and shows plots such as RF coverage, interference, and best server. In the design mode, iSite is used to design a network before hardware is installed or to test configuration scenarios. iSite provides the best solution for WLAN deployment and management.
iSite Survey
The following plots show some of the results available in iSite Survey. The plots were generated using measurement data from a survey done on an existing network. Green dots indicate measurement points.
Coverage Plot
Red shows areas of high signal strength. Any combination of detected AP can be enabled to show the combined coverage footprint. |

Interference Plot
Red shows areas of high interference. Interference can be reduced by adjusting the channel configuration, AP transmit power, and AP location. |
Best Server Plot
Colors represent the area served by each AP. Changing the AP transmit power and location can modify the serving area thereby adjusting the traffic load on the AP. |

Locate Unknown AP
Unknown or rogue AP are easily located. iSite also includes a feature that calculates the coverage leakage outside secured boundaries. |
Measurement View
The measurement view provides a real-time display of detected AP. The view is also used to examine previously recorded measurement points.
